Overview

This role is working for a company that operarte under a family ethos, you will be a team player and want to be successful in all that you do. Our client operates with and covers a number of different areas ranging from Windows and Doors, Summer Houses/Sheds, Drylining, Bricks, Landscaping and Guttering. The aim of this role is to grow branch sales and margins, by proactively chasing sales opportunities, finding new business and developing relationships with new and existing customers. TELESALES JOB DESCRIPTION: - Helping to exceed branch sales, margins and gross profit - Respond positively and effectively to customers’ needs - Source materials needed to meet customer requirements for items not stocked - Agree the best possible margin when negotiating with customers in line with branch budget and KPI’s - Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service and ensure best practice - Deal with customer complaints effectively and pleasantly, In a timely manner - Assist in company stock counts - Comply with company audit requirements - Be vigilant to prevent loss product by theft etc - Follow Health and Safety while reporting issues PERSON / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Previous sales experience, must be confident cold calling existing and prospective customers - IT skills (Word, Excel and Outlook mostly) - Great communicator on the phone - Demonstrate a positive, friendly and stable attitude - A desire to develop knowledge of the company and able to understand company products - Strong interpersonal skills with confidence to approach customers - Negotiating skills (written and verbal) - Be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure - Able to prioritise workload HOURS OF WORK: 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday 8am - 1pm Please note: As you can appreciate we are currently overwhelmed with applications of individuals looking for both short term and permanent work and we can therefore only contact those applications that have relevant skills for positions that we currently have available.
