Overview
Our client, a City based global asset manager has a team management opportunity for an accomplished Fund Performance & Analytics specialist to lead team of Performance Analysts focused on delivering Equity, Fixed Income and asset allocation performance attribution reporting. As the Performance Manager you will work in a BAU capacity as well as leading the team overseeing timely delivery of sensitive performance information for clients, marketing materials & investment professionals. In this role you will partner and act as the escalation point for internal teams such as Operations and Technology and with vendors to ensure data quality as well as the identification of issues related to performance data reporting. Working in a leadership capacity you will also lead and deliver performance measurement initiatives dedicated to improving performance data, systems and processes. Your team management experience will also include coaching, setting goals and conducting performance reviews for your direct reports. This is an influential role requiring strong communication skills to regularly interact internally across all levels to include Senior Management, Portfolio Managers including Marketing Legal & Compliance professionals. Performance Managers will have a minimum of a 2.1 degree or above within a financial discipline from an asset management firm. Progression with professional qualifications such as the CIPM or CFA will be a distinct advantage. In addition, prior system experience of Factset , Aladdin and or B-One (BiSam) are also desirable.
