Overview

What does the company do? A multi-award winning digital design agency offering services such as Graphic Design, UX, UI and Brand Consulting. The business is expanding both nationally and internationally with clients predominately in the environmental and sustainability space. How can you expect to spend your day? You will join the company finance team to support the Chief Finance Officer and by doing so kick-start your career as a finance and accounting professional. This is a part-time postion working 20 hours per week, paying £15,000 - £18,000 per annum plus benefits. Tasks you can expect to be responsibke for: • Preparing all sales invoices • Overseeing monthly accounting reconciliations • Managing cash flow • Credit control • Processing of weekly payment run • Posting of all bank transactions • Bank reconciliations (multi-currency) • Debit card transaction posting • HMRC payments • VAT Compliance including VAT payments • Key point of contact for both external and internal stakeholders • Ad hoc deliverables as and when required Desired skills and experince: • Educated to degree level, subjects of interest include Finance and Accounting although this is not a pre-requisite. • Would suit somoene workogn towards thier ACCA accountanting qualification or similar. • Good working knowledge of MS Excel. • Prior experience in an accounting department is preferred. • A positive, can do attitude towards work. • Someone eager to take on and learn new skills. • The ability to prioritise workload when dealing with multiple tasks. • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. • Work experience using accounting software "Xero" would be advantageous. • Someone comfortable working in a team environment.
