Overview
Business Development / Marketing Executive A leading Digital Agency are looking for an energetic sales/marketing person to join their team. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and digital marketing department to identify and engage with retailers to introduce and demonstrate their successful web solutions. You will be assisting in the selling of their solutions delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS) to the online retail sector, conducting new business sales with Heads of E-commerce and Marketing This role is marketing/admin focused, to support the new sales department within the agency. Sales of software and services packages are typically in 3-6 month sales cycles; with deals ranging from £30k-150k. The position provides a fantastic opportunity with full training provided and good scope for career development. Your responsibilities will be: Identifying target leads and key decision-makers using various tools Analysing business requirements and websites to identify key problems we can solve Designing and following up marketing campaigns to qualify leads Book coordinate and attending face to face meetings Creating pitch decks and sales materials such as white-papers, case studies and blog articles Assist with the writing of proposals and any additional follow-on sales material Attend industry conferences and events where there are opportunities to network and develop new business leads Help small and mid-sized companies realise their potential in the eCommerce space Key Skills Prior experience in a similar role An understanding of eCommerce and/or digital marketing Capable of utilising new business generation techniques IT literate, with creative/design skill-set Able to take feedback and guidance from management Capable of working within a team or unsupervised Hunger and drive to successfully close new business What they have to offer: Competitive salary, a great working environment, and outstanding benefits including: Fully flexible working Company private medical scheme Fully stocked drinks fridge Company gym and shower facilities Regular team social events Training & personal development New company laptop The Client They are one of the largest independent digital agencies in the Midlands, delivering online success for brands such as Moss Bros, Ben Sherman, Yours Clothing and many more.
