Then this is the job for you Stop what your doing and hit apply now Job Title - Digital Marketing Executive Objective: Co-ordination of digital marketing resources & communications. Contribute to SEO & Pay-per-Click marketing activity. Manage & co-ordinate event plans Responsible to: Digital Marketing Lead Key Responsibilities: Core Areas: Assist with the delivery of the digital marketing strategy and Content Plan, researching and exploring best practice in online marketing. Together with our SEO & PPC Partners monitor success of online marketing. Assist with the Social Media Strategy and Plan. Update key social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) to the Social Media plan - working with our internal customer-facing teams to drive engagement and build brand awareness. Manage the Event Plan and co-ordinate marketing activities to ensure smooth delivery. Undertake research to understand market trends and provide analysis of competitor activity. Contribute to reporting to provide monthly and periodic overview of marketing activity. Be a CRM Marketing champion. Understand how the product can be used for internal & customer use for the Marketing area. Inform the product development process and contribute to continuous improvement of in this area. Digital Marketing including Social Media: Update the website with new products, content and campaigns - supporting local (Canadian) campaigns and translation. Develop online resources to deliver digital materials as included in the Content Plan including Blogs, whitepapers, e-books, news, customer stories. Co-ordinate update of Social Media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube with a view to driving new sales and maximising customer retention. Design & develop multiple email marketing campaigns - segmenting audiences and automating nurture campaigns to increase new business and existing customer LTV Help develop digital marketing skills in the broader team SEO & Pay-per-click Marketing: Conduct keyword research and selection for pay-per-click campaigns and SEO projects - working with the broader teams to produce engaging articles, social media content and product copy in line with editorial guidelines and deadlines. Monitor SEO results and manage projects to improve SERP rankings - including optimising landing pages and other site pages in line with changing trends and priorities. Assist with the AdWords campaign planning and work with other team members plus potential agencies to maximise campaign spend in this area. Events & Exhibitions: Develop the Event Plan to identify opportunities to promote the brand and reputation via focused sales & marketing events, industry focused events, partnership & networking events. Manage the event calendar, produce and coordinate distribution of marketing resources including social media to promote these events. Plan advance activities required for individual events to ensure high quality delivery and successful event presentation. Co-ordinate on-site activities during events and also the post event follow-up required. Liaise with the sales team to optimise our Event Plan and provide best practise marketing advice for successful event delivery. G eneral: Work closely with other teams including Sales, Customer & Technical teams. To undertake other duties which fall within the scope of the post as determined by the Management Team. To undertake training as required. Person Specification: Relevant degree and/ or experience in marketing area Sound knowledge of marketing principles and digital marketing technologies e.g. email & social media, HTML, SEO and interest in developing skills in this area. Strong communication skills both written and verbal including ability to write and design effective marketing materials. Creative flair - ideas driven High level of IT skills and ability to apply in marketing environment. Skills in the following packages are desirable: Adobe / InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator software or willingness to undertake training. Ability to check for accuracy and give attention to detail. Good project management and organisational skills. Conversant with report writing, business procedures and correspondence. Ability to analyse data and effectively present information. 1 year experience in marketing/marketing related activities (this could include a placement year). Strong sense of initiative and a "can-do" attitude. Motivated with a passion for marketing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
