About the Role: We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world. Our People & Change team is a community of experts, working alongside our sector and practice colleagues to help clients drive change, employee engagement and performance. Our offer includes consulting in the areas of leadership enablement; employee engagement and mobilisation; change management and communications; learning and development; organisational design and development; and employee relations. What You'll Do: The People & Change team are now looking to recruit a Director who is facile across the elements of our offer which should encompass strategic and implementation experience across the following: Change support specifically around major organisational transformations such as IPO, M&A, cost-outs, restructuring, strategy development and vision/values development and roll-out. We define change communications specifically as having a mastery of the communications and interventions to drive large scale changes across organisations, usually by working in close proximity to client teams leading communications and HR workstream. Alternatively, these may be in the direct oversight of those workstreams of clients. Design, facilitation and delivery of impactful and engaging strategic L&D solutions at a wide range of levels up to C-suite. Examples of the solutions include: training programmes, diagnosis of improvement areas, culture changes, leadership development, coaching and off-sites. Employee engagement as it pertains to driving a robust results-driven internal communications programme to rally and engage employees around ongoing business execution. Experience driving culture change or evolution from either a communications and/or a L&D perspective. Leadership enablement and coaching to help new and transitioning leaders to sustainably step-up, influence, drive change and communicate effectively. Aligning leaders and managers to build commitment and drive performance. Increasing the impact of leadership and manager communications throughout the lifecycle of the organisation. Organisation design and development for such as restructuring, functional, digital and cultural transformation, and the resulting actions to enable the organisation to operate and deliver more effectively. Basic Qualifications and required Skills: At least five years' experience in an in-house internal or external communication, HR or change support role or as a consultant in a professional services firm, with experience in supporting staff-related change and transformation programmes including M&As Team spirit and the ability to motivate and enhance a dynamic consulting team Demonstrable experience and skill in analytical thinking, communication and presentation Effective project management, multi-tasking and budget management A successful track record of winning and developing new business and developing client relationships Successful applicants are likely to have worked in a similar organisation to ours or in an in-house L&D/OD consulting or communications role and will be able to demonstrate: Sound business development experience, including proposal writing and bid presentations, and a proven track record of winning business Experience of working to and achieving financial targets (related to winning and delivering client business) Significant experience in the design, development, delivery and project management of L&D, OD and change & communications interventions Client relationship management experience up to and including C-suite level Strong writing skills which have led to the production of thought leadership papers, points of view documents and website articles Post graduate level qualification i.e. MBA or Master's level qualifications in HRM, organisational development, occupational psychology or similar Ability and keenness to develop and mentor colleagues and junior members of the team In terms of the working environment, you will need a proven ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with focus on detail and excellence in execution. You will need to comfortably switch between participating in broader teams and leading individually. i.e. on some accounts you are the conductor and on some you are a member of the orchestra.
