Overview
There is now a vacancy for an IT Business Development Manager / IT Sales Account Manager to join a successful IT services company in Chatham, Kent. Salary package for the IT Business Development Manager / Sales Account Manager is c£30-32k basic £10-13k commission year 1 (uncapped). The role of IT Business Development Manager will be predominantly office based (approx. 90%) with field sales meetings nationally (approx. 10%). The position is split approximately 50/50 between new business and account management. IT Business Development Manager - Role Scope and Responsibilities: Selling tailored services Dealing with long-term sales cycles. Providing a consultative approach to sales New business generation from outbound activity Account management and growth from assigned existing accounts Retain and develop all accounts won. Dealing with national accounts. Leverage the company position within established sectors, break into less developed sectors Arrange and run prospect/client meetings as necessary (chaperoned initially) Produce formal written quotes and tender responses Ability to work autonomously and propose their own as well as wider sales department campaigns IT Business Development Manager - Person Requirements: Good sales experience. Happy to undertake outbound calling for new business generation, alongside account management Some IT sales experience preferred Attention to detail, able to pick up on specific client requirements and produce accurate written proposals (Premier Recruiting Services Ltd is an Employment Agency).
