We recently moved into a brand new river-front studio in the heart of the Historic Dockyard in Kent, UK. We are growing fast, developing our games using cutting-edge technology and delivering these on multiple platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We are looking for a Community Manager to join our team, working Train Simulator and Train Sim World. Reporting into the Trains Business Director, you will manage Dovetail Games' communities to a high standard, keeping them up to date with engaging content to attract, inform and retain our consumer base. Responsibilities * Set up and run regular livestreams (Twitch, Mixer, YouTube) * Manage and proactively post across our own community channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Forums) * Join discussion with other communities (Steam, Discord, Reddit) * Run outreach programs and creative collaboration with content creators * Daily engagement across all community channels * Drive forward content planning with monthly social calendars * Share community feedback and developments with the business * Record, analyse and report quantitative and qualitative data to shape future campaigns * Develop strategies to improve user experience and build our comunity Person Specifications * Proven experience of managing console game communities * Knowledge of the game streaming and video creation space * Experience with CMS publishing tools is beneficial * Experience managing and creating content plans * Strong knowledge of social media management tools, digital media platforms and relevant trends to incorporate these into campaigns * Fluent in English, speaking and writing, with impeccable writing and proofreading skills * Second language is beneficial (German/French) * Knowledge of train simulation and/or trains is very beneficial * Excellent customer service * A passion for video games, and in-depth industry knowledge * A degree, or equivalent experience, in a relevant subject * Strong analytical skills About Dovetail Games We are committed to promoting equal opportunities and diversity, and all applicants will be considered on their merit, qualifications, competence and talent regardless of any protected characteristics. * You will have a direct and significant impact on the future of our games * You'll experience an environment where you will be challenged but supported * We have an industry leading work-life balance * We are developing games across multiple platforms using cutting edge technology * Competitive salary and benefits * Pension scheme * Eye-care vouchers * Free parking * Free fruit, tea & coffee and a stocked pantry * Access to funded fitness events and health checks. * Regular social and sporting activities, including charity fundraising.
