Overview
MRICS, APC, GP Surveyor, Estates Surveyor, Nottingham, Council, local authority Your new company You will work for a forward thinking council, that offer progression and growth as a business. They are a smaller council, who offer a family like feel to their working environment. Your new role You will work in their Property and Estates team, managing a diverse property portfolio which includes land, commercial buildings and some residential properties. You will provide estate management advice on behalf of the council as well as ensuring the capital asset valuations of land and property are carried out in accordance with RICS requirements. You will also liaise with other property and engineering colleagues to ensure repair and maintenance work is carried out to the correct standard and budget. You will been involved in an ongoing corporate exercise to evaluate Council Land and Building Assets including Co-ordinating input from other council service areas. What you'll need to succeed You will have a RICS accredited degree or equivalent, as well as strong commercial property, valuation and negotiation experience. The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified or equivalent. You will be able to self manage and be able to self motivate.
