About the Role: Ecorys UK has an exciting opportunity for a Consultant/Research Manager to join our reputable and established Policy and Research team delivering impactful research and evaluation. Our work ranges from supporting local client needs, through to large-scale National, European and International research, monitoring and impact evaluation working for a variety of public sector and voluntary sector clients. We work across a range of policy areas including education, employment, children, young people and families, health and wellbeing. As a Research Manager you will support in the winning and delivery of mixed method research, evaluation and consultancy projects within the Policy and Research Team working across one or more markets (UK, Europe, International). The Research Manager role offers broad exposure working across one or more of our key social and economic policy areas which focus on education, employment and labour markets, healthcare, health and wellbeing, sport and culture, children, young people and families, ageing and social care, and financial capability. Technically, you will also apply experience of using analytic software such as Stata, SPSS, Excel and NVivo. Role Requirements: You will need to demonstrate effective project management by meeting tight deadlines in a fast paced environment whilst being active member of the team by contributing ideas, suggestions and taking part in training and team meetings and events. You must be commercially aware and actively contribute to full proposals/tenders/bids and pitches for prospective clients, in response to invitations to tender. You will also have appreciation of the environment in which Ecorys UK works and contribute new ideas for future development of the UK market. You will also have experience of the design/implementation of quantitative and/or qualitative research produce high quality analytical outputs and written reports/outputs, and present research findings effectively. This includes contributing to a range of outputs such as blog posts, articles, social media postings, newsletters, good practice guides. Ideally, you will have a first degree and post graduate degree (in social science, social research, international development, geography, statistics, maths or economics, research methods etc). Due to the nature of the research, an enhanced DBS check may be required. There is also the prospect for some national and international travel.
