Overview
Assistant Account Manager - Menswear Watford £c.30,000 Our client is a leading supplier of ready made garments for high street fashion brands. They are looking for someone proactive and self-motivated to join the team in the Menswear department supporting the Account Manager. Responsibilities include: Liaising with Buyers/ customers on any day to day issues. Communicating with Far East factories to ensure the critical path remains to schedule. Coordinate the activity of fabric and garment techs, merchandising and design teams to ensure product development projects are delivered on time. General administration such as organising and chasing fabric samples. When necessary, negotiating prices with suppliers in line with customer requirements and targets and ensure price is agreed with the customer. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with the ability to remain calm under pressure with an every changing workload. Previous experience in the Fashion Industry from a supply perspective is essential . There may be some UK and International travel with this role.
