We have most recently acquired Stride Gaming, which, together with our existing Digital business, forms Rank Interactive. Job Description The Role: To support content marketing team by delivering the PR strategies for the business, evolving and optimising all opportunities to attract, engage and convert new and lapsed customers across both brands and all channels. This role works closely with our PR agencies and internal digital marketing teams to plan out and execute always on and campaign PR activities designed to create positive brand awareness and attract new audiences by supporting our core values. The individual in this role will have a tireless passion for communication, coming up with on brand, creative executions of messages with our agency. They will live and breath our values and always put the customer at the heart of everything they do. At this time, the role supports three key areas - Meccabingo.com, Grosvenorcasinos.com and Grosvenorsports.com. In time there may be additional brands with our bingo portfolio that require PR support. With a focus on a fully integrated content strategy, this role will work closely with the social media and blog content teams to ensure that we are maximising our opportunities to reach customers, creating a community that people really want to be a part of. You’ll appreciate the challenges of working in a regulated industry and also support a carefully defined trade press strategy. Whilst you’ll work in the digital business you’ll have omni-channel opportunities close to mind and consider how campaigns might cross into our retail business. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage the execution of PR campaigns ensuring a joined up approach across our content marketing platforms. Work closely with the social, content and brand teams to create always on and campaign activity to drive brand consideration. Understand the place of promotional content within a PR context and always be commercial aware of financial targets and goals. Promote effect ways of working with our agencies to ensure adequate planning and brainstorming time, seamless execution and fantastic coverage results. Manage PR budget line and plan the financial year across campaign activities, BAU and reactive opportunities. Have an ear to the ground for competitor news, news jacking opportunities and trends that might create PR opportunities. Understand what will be considered newsworthy for our brands. Take an analytical approach to data, seeking out trends and opportunities to create a story. Understand the relationship between meaningful press coverage and the commercial goals of the business. Qualifications At least 5 years experience in PR with a sound knowledge of PR Experience in managing agency partners Experience in creating press materials and managing journalist relationships Experience in news jacking and capitalising on news trends Basic SEO content marketing knowledge an advantage Basic Social Media Marketing knowledge an advantage Additional Information Personal qualities Think creatively and not be afraid to try new ways of working. Understand the needs of the customer and put them first. Works well in a team and able to share ideas and experience. Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and deliver on reaching performance KPIs. Able to work on their own initiative and stays motivated and learns from setbacks. Ability to prioritise opportunities and know when to pivot and change approach if needed.
