OUR CLIENT We are looking to recruit a Solicitor c 4-6 PQE with a Fin Tech/Data Protection background to join an expanding in house legal team within a fin tech business THE ROLE The post-holder will be expected to handle a varied and challenging workload as a key member of an established and fast growing business. Providing both legal and commercial advice on the following areas of work : - Commercial Contracts - Data processing agreements and customised sales contracts,. Data Protection - Assist with GDPR matters, compliance with the GDPR, and privacy laws Technology - Product development, technology agreements, special projects and product development Regulatory matters Payment systems Mentoring and managing team members THE CANDIDATE To be considered for this exceptional in house position offering career development opportunities within a highly sought after business sector, candidates must have exceptionally strong technical skills, a law firm background and 2:1 degree. Individuals with experience in one or more of the following disciplines; data protection, financial services, banking and payments work would be of particular interest.
