Overview

Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for an experienced Communications Manager who has previously worked within the education sector and has experience in a similar role. This role will be working for an exception International School based in Central London. This is a new Communications Manager position and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing and coordinating clients Marketing & Communications across the UK business. Main Responsibilities: - Communications Manager Duties include but are not limited to: To collaborate with the Headquarters to define the communication strategy and marketing plan with clear objectives. The communication strategies must to be delivered to clients for execution and for implementation; To act as a brand enforcer in all UK and local activities, protecting the brand during all interactions; To check monthly all competitors' communications (on-line/off-line) activities & positioning with the objective to provide a quarterly intelligence report update to the Director for Group Headquarters Board presentations; To be directly responsible for the planning and management of all events at local level; To manage, develop and coordinate in all internal and external communications projects always in accordance with company's strategy and take direct responsibility of all deadlines, managing suppliers, deliveries and costs within a budget given; To be responsible of approval process related to integrated communications promotional materials and advertising (invoices, PO, contracts' approval, forms…); To supervise the MEC (marketing expensive control) budget; To develop and coordinate all off-line integrated communications production activities locally (prospectus, admission packs, flyers, posters, ADV, invitations and any other need); To be responsible of the relation between the UK office and HQ regarding the promotion of local project through the corporate social media channels. The resource will be also in charge of the production of new appealing material (Images, Video, Interview) useful for the aforementioned activity; To be responsible for the local internal channel management, such as newsletters, intranet, events for staff and customers; in line with the NSS Strategy, CMA compliance and company's global strategy; To manage the media planning/media buying at Local level; To plan, manage and implement the Country media plan (on line and off line) meeting deadlines and granting ROI To implement and follow up the local PR/media relations on/offline to maximize ROI, through day-to-day management of the relationship of the outsourced PR Agency partner/freelance and monthly reporting to the London Marketing Meeting; To establish direct relationships with the media (Press/Influencers) acting as link person and supporting the visibility of the Directors; To manage and keep up to date the in-house local archive of clipping and contact details of local media and image library to be able to quickly provide materials under requests of agencies network or Representative Offices or Information Centre Ensure the Local web presence continuously updated Experience Required:- Communications Manager Degree in Communication / PR and qualification in digital / social media / events management; Minimum three years of experience in a similar sector - Education Excellent English language skills, other European languages (Desirable) Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence and educate stakeholders; Demonstrated project management skills; i.e. ability to work to tight timeframes, managing multiple tasks and stakeholder management; Good knowledge of SEO & SEM; Strong interest for the Education Sector - In particular - fashion / design / arts area; Strategic thinking, team-working, people management; Experience in events organisation and management; Experience in social media management; Knowledge of Adobe pack (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Knowledge of Keynote.
