Customer Insight Manager 6 month FTC Strong Basic Central London The Insights Manager is responsible for leading a UK customer insights and research efforts on an ongoing basis. You are both a strategic and an analytical thinker, who knows how to transform data into actionable insights that improve both the business and the customer experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the UK customer insights program and will work cross-functionally to implement and deliver research projects and ad-hoc research requests, that provide actionable recommendations. You will be serving as the leader of all of the UK customer research efforts including, but not limited to, designing and executing customer surveys, managing the online customer community, running focus groups, managing on-going tracking studies and comprehensive market research projects. You will have the opportunity to partner across both the Marketing team as well as the broader organisation to drive change off the back of your insights. You will have extensive experience in both qual and quant research methods, producing actionable insights and using these insights to plan UK business strategy. YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL Bring an interest in tech, retail and fashion Represent the voice of the customer by proactively bringing forward insights from research and analysis and identifying opportunities for business improvement based on research findings Act as a strategic business partner and thought leader across Marketing, Creative, Strategy, Merchandising, Styling, and Customer Service teams to frame, investigate, and answer key questions about existing and prospective customers Conduct qualitative and quantitative end-to-end customer and market research efforts; develop questionnaires and discussion guides, program surveys, create interview summaries / reports, moderate focus groups and conduct customer interviews Synthesise and communicate insights to cross-functional partners and executive leadership team; provide recommendations and influence business partners to take action, based on your recommendations Develop and monitor key customer metrics based on research; establish business goals to improve key metrics Manage and coordinate research project timelines Drive prioritisation of research initiatives based on business strategic goals Perform ad hoc analyses to predict, measure and interpret business and consumer trends, based on business performance, actual customer behaviour, and research Evaluate and onboard external vendors for key research projects; manage vendor development of questionnaires and other research materials WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE: You have an BA/BS from a leading university with a record of academic achievement; Masters degree a plus You have 8-10 years of experience in customer insights, consulting, strategy, or similarly analytical research role You have extensive experience in retail and/or ecommerce marketing You have significant experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative customer research methods You are both strategic and analytical, with an ability to break down problems and drive solutions You have a proven track-record of cross-functional collaboration and influencing business partners based on research insights You have excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, with a hunger for learning and development; a team player You have a strong ability to prioritise and manage resources to maximise results You are both right brained and left brained, can think big picture and have the ability to execute with great quality in the details You have a passion for a vibrant company culture committed to being Bright, Kind and Motivated by Challenge They are a successful, fast-growing company at the forefront of tech and fashion, redefining retail for the next generation They are a technologically and data-driven business
