The Company: Eileen Richards Recruitment are excited to be working with our client who are a market leader in the Insurance industry, and known through the East Midlands and beyond. They are now looking for someone with experience of business development within the commercial insurance sector who is highly motivated and enthusiastic, and who holds a good understanding of the principles and practice of Insurance Risk Assessment, Underwriting and Accounting. Role & Responsibilities of the Business Development - Commercial Insurance person: Proactively conduct cold and warm sales calls to new and existing clients to close insurance sales Effectively process all renewals and incoming commercial insurance sales leads. Manage the client / prospect database and continuously generate new sales leads by prospecting through a variety of marketing means Networking, relationship building and attending industry related events Collaborating with internal teams & senior managers to maximise revenue opportunities. Deliver on agreed new business targets. Effectively work with our operating system for all client records, activities, documentation, communications and diary accordingly including the use of other software packages as required. About You as the Business Development - Commercial Insurance person: Excellent ability to build strong relationships with people.
