Overview

We are excited to be working with a world class organisation who are requiring an experienced Marketing Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will join a fast-growing worldwide business to drive and support the growth of new brand in the UK through appropriate marketing support initiatives: In-store POS, following a 'car park to cash register’ structure Collateral and merchandising materials Above and below the line marketing strategies to support awareness through to purchase Establishment and growth of dedicated social media channels To be the custodian of the new brand. To understand potential customers and their buying cycles, end user needs, the value proposition, the competitor landscape and the investment opportunities to devise supporting marketing campaigns. Develop the new brand into a standalone proposition. Key Responsibilies Work with the Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Executive to establish a marketing plan in line with the budget. Deployment of the marketing strategy, taking the lead of the marketing activity of this new initiative within the trade channel. Manage marketing campaigns and communications - strategic brand & direction, in store and external marketing activity, merchandising, point of sale. Work with the digital team to maximise the use and potential of the website and launch the new brand via dedicated social media platforms. Curate and coordinate with the projects and events executive to arrange small events to engage our audience and enrich the customer experience. To be a brand custodian and ensure our customers adhere to the brand guidelines and present our company and products in the correct way. Provide product support to the Trade sales team in the form of sales collateral, FAQ’s, Product Presentations and other instore support materials to generate and grow the channel. Analyse the effectiveness of all marketing activity, and constantly look for ways to improve results. Work with the Head of Trade Sales and trade business managers to identify and execute new and innovative ways to market to their customers. With the Senior Marketing Executive, manage the channel budget to ensure ROI is quantifiable and adds value. Proactively identify opportunities and drive initiatives to gain a competitive advantage Key Measurements and Goals Develop a portfolio of consumer support material, ensure its maintained and remains relevant for the sales teams needs within the trade channel. Develop high quality retail marketing toolkit covering every touchpoint of the shopper journey, including digital channels. Develop high quality, engaging digital content to help establish and grow the social media channels to support sales growth. Provide evaluation of support effectiveness, key activities, customer feedback and material uptake from channel. Manage all activity within the constraints of the annual budget. Experience Experience of working in a brand/channel start up environment. Strong business to consumer marketing background. Strong knowledge and experience of retail marketing, merchandising and POS Experience of developing engaging and innovative digital and social content. The skillset to support the Snr Marketing Executive with a budget and reporting on it. Proven track record of managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously. A strong team player who is confident and proactive with ideas to generate new business growth. Experience of working with sales organisations. Experience of working with third party agencies and suppliers. Minimum degree, or equivalent.
