COMPANY DESCRIPTION Our client is the largest and longest-established fancy dress retailer and costume hire company in the UK. They are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join the Ecommerce team to grow their Marketplace strategy and become an integral part of a well-established and growing business. JOB DESCRIPTION To assist in the running of the Merchandising department by ensuring that the right stock is available for customers to purchase. Taking full ownership of eBay and Amazon product listings. This includes adding new products and managing all pricing and merchandising of marketplace listings. Creation of high-quality, fully optimised content for new and existing listings that is supported by an analytical understanding. Conduct regular competitor and market analysis whilst providing feedback and recommendations to the wider business. Support the digital marketing team to improve traffic, sales, ROI, CPA conversion rate and basket quality. Work closely with both the Merchandising and Digital Marketing team to plan range launches, promotions and key product themes ensuring the online strategy is successfully executed. Regular reporting to monitor performance of listings, sales conversion rates and return on investment. Assist in the creation of promotional activity in line with budget and wider marketing strategy. Plan in advance of key promotional events and peak selling periods. Research and proposal for new marketplaces to grow online presence and reach. WHO FITS THE BILL Previous experience and knowledge with Amazon and eBay is preferred. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent written communication, copywriting and proofing skills. Be able to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced working environment. Strategic thinker with experience working to sales targets. Able to manage a large product catalogue and problem solve. Highly organised and able to manage own workload. Commercial acumen, able to understand margins and deal with budgets. Proven experience of delivering revenue growth through an online platform. Good IT skills, proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programmes.
