Overview
Are you a Merchandising Admin Assistant or Junior level Allocator looking to take the next step in your career? An established bluechip retailer is currently seeking a Merchandising Assistant to join their team at their head office in Uxbridge. This brand is internationally known for offering high quality bags and suitcases and is keen to an Merchandising Assistant to support the UK business and be a key member of their Merchandising team. The Role: · As a Merchandising Assistant you will maintain a good level of stock availability for products, across all the stores in the UK · You will be working closely with the merchandiser to identify under performing and over performing stores, review weekly availability within stores. · As a Merchandising Assistant you will maintain a weekly delivery schedule of intake, to ensure availability of stock in stores, and liaise with suppliers to ensure delivery dates are met. · You will liaise with the warehouse and stores to resolve any logistics/delivery queries. · Building relationships with the relevant consolidation centres and ensuring that there is smooth and efficient flow of stock into them, and ultimately to the stores · As Merchandising Assistant, you will oversee POS and VM ordering for stores, as well as creating seasonal orders for stores · Being aware of the product ranges for Full Price stores and suggesting changes to improve performance by store · As a Merchandising Assistant you will maintain high administrative standards and communicate effectively within the team and with stores/other departments to maximise sales and profit opportunities Experience Required - To be suitable for the above roles you will need experience of working within a Merchandising or Allocator team, with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills - You will be enthusiastic with good work ethic and be a team player In return you will be offered: - Basic salary of between £21 - £23k per annum - Other benefits include annual bonus, pension and 28 days holiday, including bank holidays - An opportunity to be a key member within a small team and gain exposure to other areas of the business, as well as develop your career Work within a motivational and enjoyable environment
