Overview
A highly regarded and fast growing Compliance Consultancy is seeking an experienced Compliance professional to join their Capital Markets team. Working with a range of clients you will provide generalist support to investment banks, brokers, exchanges and commodity firms and therefore exposure to these areas of financial services is required. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate MiFID II knowledge and experience of market abuse monitoring in a trading environment. You will advise and support clients on a wide range of regulatory compliance matters. This may include: o Drafting and maintaining policies, procedures and compliance monitoring programmes o Developing training materials and assisting in delivering training sessions o Assisting with regulatory matters including authorisation applications and variations of permission o Carrying out compliance health checks and periodic monitoring o Responding to ad-hoc and routine regulatory queries You will be expected to develop and foster professional relationships with clients and actively perform market research to identify new prospects to target, helping the team with marketing and business development activities such as preparing proposals and writing articles for online marketing.
