Overview
About the Role: We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world. The Life Sciences team is a growing practice with high profile clients that concentrates on communications for the life sciences and healthcare industry including pharmaceuticals, medtech, healthcare services and diagnostics companies. The team is looking for an experienced candidate with an entrepreneurial and creative mind-set that can further build the team's brand in corporate, issues and product/device communications for healthcare and life science companies. An appreciation of financial communications would be useful but not essential for this role. What You'll Do Deliver to Clients: Own and manage client relationships with limited senior supervision; creatively prepare and deliver the client programme Ensure client programmes are agreed and project plans are in place Generate supportive media coverage for clients by drafting press releases and other media assets, engaging with journalists, and arranging client events Work alongside colleagues to ensure timescales and quality assurance are adhered to Manage client expectations and anticipate their needs Anticipate potentially challenging situations and evaluate alternatives with senior team Assist senior team members in creatively preparing and delivering the client programme Provide strategic advice to a portfolio of clients, manage accounts on a day-to-day basis and develop excellent relationships with clients Focus on client retention through exemplary service delivery Deliver research proposals Build the Business: Seek new business opportunities and produce fresh ideas Awareness of wider trends within the industry and ability to think creatively to expand offering and/or client base Proactively network with media and industry contacts, as well as potential clients Team Involvement: Share ideas and client information with the team Share knowledge, insights and experience with colleagues Develop relationships with other teams within FTI How You'll Grow: Alongside opportunities to learn on the job from some of the leading professionals of the industry, FTI Consulting offers extensive internal and external training opportunities.
