About DWS: The Pearson Digital Workplace Services [DWS] team is simplifying how Pearson employees work, engage and collaborate using a broad range of technology, initiatives and transformation activities introducing new, globally consistent platforms and services primarily based on Microsoft products: with Office 365 (replacing Google G-Suite) being a key delivery over the next 12 months. About you: You will be passionate about the collaborative power of Office 365. You will use your proven track record of cultivating professional relationships across key stakeholders and be working tirelessly with our global business units, technology, engineering and security teams to distill and deliver value from Office 365. You will be aware of changing and emerging features and how value can be realized for Pearson. As a key member of our team, you bring your proven history of creating superb and engaging content which can be delivered through multiple channels. Role purpose: The UX Lead provides end to end technology adoption for Microsoft Office 365 based collaboration services to support Pearson’s global businesses. Spanning Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and ancillary products including PowerApps family across different end points and use cases. The role is responsible for the adoption of Microsoft of Office 365 and related collaboration services. Defining how we use our tools, how we interact and collaborate with colleagues and customers and bringing to life the vision of our ecosystem. To realize these goals and objectives the position must balance core Microsoft technology skills with excellent communication and facilitation skills. Key responsibilities: As a direct report to the Director for Unified Communication and Collaboration within the Digital Workplace Services group, the candidate will be responsible for: Engaging our business customers to drive training and adoption of DWS services by promoting awareness across Pearson through blogging, presentations and other direct communications activities. Core services are Office 365 Your continuous end user engagement across Pearson will support our workplace of the future strategy to deliver the right tools for the right job roles. You will analyze usage behaviors and provide data driven knowledge of our user experience, to help the wider leadership to optimize the value and deliver the ROI. You will document common technology and knowledge gaps, and propose scalable solutions to enhance the user experience through our common channels eg video, blogs etc You will produce compelling and clear end user content to aid the use of DWS services, and measure success through data driven metrics. You will support the DWS engineering, architecture and leadership team with updates and technology roadmaps from key vendors and sector leaders, providing feedback to help us influence vendor product directions to align more closely with Pearson needs and goals. You will assist the wider DWS leadership team with strategic curation of new services and help maintain a customized dashboard of our technology roadmaps. Deliverables and outcomes (Within 12 months) Support the delivery of the myWorkplace Programme and ensure timely transition of project-to-service and partner with the programme to achieve strategic objectives in relation to adoption and facilitating uptake of new tools Deliver Microsoft collaboration service in conjunction with the Engineering and Architecture functions Work with the team to build the Demand Management process and lead aspects of the process Work with the Engineering and Architecture functions to help realize the new and incoming capabilities of the Evergreen Solution ie ensuring uptake of all new future capabilities Work with other teams to improve perception of new technologies from a ‘top down’ perspective, where needed, offering one-to-one support for the Top 100 Pearson is an equal opportunities employer.
