Campaign Data Strategy and Visualisation Analyst Data & Customer Engagement Agency LOCATION - Central London SALARY - £35k - £45k plus excellent benefits & training opportunities CLIENT We are lucky enough to work as sole supplier to one of the UK’s most established marketing agencies, who have successfully developed a cutting-edge Marketing Sciences function. Due to demand from clients and a need to deliver across a variety of remits (data strategy, data visualisation and data science) we are looking to hire a bit of a hybrid Analyst…. This opportunity would suit either a BI / Reporting Analyst, Insight Analyst or Campaign Analyst who really enjoys brining marketing insights to life through dashboards and engaging visualisation. This role requires all of those skills PLUS strategic thinking around improving campaign performance – how do we use these insights to improve future campaigns and marketing performance? Can we bring in further data sets and sources to enhance marketing activity? How do we speak to the consumer or customer and what should the customer journey look like? All questions, you will need to ask in order to be successful in this role. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a growing Data Science function, developing insights from marketing activity, then building dashboards and data visualisation solutions as well as data strategies for a global luxury automotive brand - plus the opportunity to work across other clients within luxury retail, media, travel and payments solutions. Technically you will need strong skills in one of the leading data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Pentaho or Tableau, as well as coding skills using SQL to extract and manipulate campaign data. There is a steep learning curve on offer here for the right individual, with lots of learning opportunities, so if you are keen to diversify your current analytics skill set by moving into a position that offers creativity and strategic thinking, this role would be well worth considering. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/RESPONSIBILITES Educated to degree level in a numerate subject; Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, Psychology etc. Skilled in using reporting and BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview or Pentaho Background in working with large volumes of customer and marketing data, ideally performing campaign analysis and making recommendations for improvements Confident coder using SQL to extract data and insights from databases Excellent communication skills and client facing style and approach – enjoys building relationships with client stakeholders Creative and strategic approach to problem solving Inquisitive, curious and keen to develop personal skills TO APPLY For further information or to apply please contact: Kate McDermott Managing Consultant – Blue Pelican Marketing For more vacancies which may suit your needs, please visit us at www.bluepelican.com
