Overview
Business Manager - Fabrication - Andover - Hampshire Brooklyn Recruitment currently have a really exciting position available for a Business Manager to join a friendly team based in the Andover area of Hampshire. This role is with a fabrication company that are doing really well with orders coming internally from other companies within the group and also externally. This role will be running the Fabrication business day to day with the support of an accounting and marketing team within the group. As Business Manager you will be: Managing suppliers Drawing up costs and quotes Managing the production staff (around 10) Ensuring Health and Safety of the site Increasing production Contributing to continuous improvement activities Overall management of the Fabrication business Working with the sales and marketing department to attract more external work Other duties as required To be suitable for the position of Business Manager you should have previously held a similar role within a Production / Fabrication environment. You should also be a skilled welder so that you can offer support and a helping hand to the fabrication staff. This is very much a hands on managerial role rather than a purely office position. The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 3pm In return for all of your hard work as Business Manager you will be rewarded with a generous salary and holiday entitlement as well as a lucrative profit related bonus scheme.
