Public Affairs Advisor Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Charity , based in Central London , in their search for a Public Affairs Advisor. The role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Public Affairs Advisor, who has experience within the Public and Third Sector. As a Public Affairs Advisor, you will be responsible for devising and delivering the Charity's Public Affairs programme. This will involve working closely with the Policy and Campaigns Team in identifying and influencing stakeholders. Job Title: Public Affairs Advisor Location: Central London Day Rate: £18.00 to £23.00 Job Type: Temporary Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week) Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver the organisations approach to all Parliamentary Work, both locally and in Parliament Prepare briefings and draft correspondence for Parliamentarians Work with the Policy Team to support the development and the delivery of Policy strategies and plans, providing Public Affairs support and representation at all conferences/coalitions/events Develop effective relationships with relevant parliamentarians, influencers and stakeholders across all levels Support the delivery of campaigning events as well as volunteer's engagement with local decision makers Manage the political monitoring company Provide support to local campaigners and volunteers Personal Specification Understanding of Parliamentary processes and procedures Public Affairs experience in a voluntary organisation Great relationship management skills Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Able to work unsocial hours Please contact to find out more information regarding this fantastic opportunity as a Policy Officer located in Central London.
