Job Description

We are looking for a professional Operations Supervisor to join a steadily growing small family run business, based in Andover. This is a hands-on role where you will be implementing the right processes and practices across the organization and coordinating and overseeing the clients operations. You will be responsible for managing a small team of 4, ensuring you provide guidance to the team and pushing back on timescales where appropriate. Key responsibilities and duties of this role.... * Managing and supervising the production and delivery of goods and services * Embracing design, planning, control, productivity, performance improvement, and operations strategy making sure that the company's products and services meet or exceed clients' or customers' expectations * This role includes the day-to-day effective and successful 'hands-on' supervision of: * Workshop/Fabrication/Manufacturing * Logistics * Quality Control * Health and Safety * Stores * Supervising and assisting other personnel in the workshop for welding, blasting, painting and fitting operations * Always looking for ways to improve * Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications.... * Proven work experience as an operations supervisor or similar role * Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management * Familiarity with business and financial principles * Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team * Outstanding organisational and problem solving skills * Knowledge or experience with sheet metal / welding / structural steel is highly desirable Hours: 07:00am - 16:30pm (Mon-Fri) Benefits * Salary of 30,000 - 40,000 (depending on experience)
