Overview
Venture Recruitment Partners are working exclusively with a prestigious, international Group based in Andover in their search for a Finance Operations Manager. Reporting in to the Group Financial Controller, this role will manage a small team responsible for the regulatory accounting framework for UK, including preparation of statutory accounts, tax legislation (including VAT) and internal controls. You will also play a key role in month end close, looking into the revaluation of foreign currency balances, including explanation of variances, and consolidation of the UK balance sheet. Due to the fact a Cashier will be a direct report for this role, weekly cashflow forecasting will be a key element. This position has been highlighted as a fast track role to Financial Controller or Finance Director, so strong progression opportunities will be on offer. The successful candidate will be a Practice trained, qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with a strong technical skill-set. Specific experience with IFRS9 and/or IFRS16 would be particularly beneficial. You will also feel comfortable managing an expanding team and be able to challenge senior stakeholders in the organisation, including the CFO.
