Fixed term contract until March 2021   Are you passionate about ending rough sleeping?    About the role and what we’re looking for As the Outreach Coordinator you will take responsibility for the day-to-day service delivery of the Reading Street Outreach Team.  You will have direct line management duties for a small team, comprising a number of outreach workers and a housing led worker.    You will take an active role in all operational requirements, from recruitment to people management, data analysis, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery and effective multi-agency partnership working.  You will be highly motivated, often working to your own initiate, and be proactive in identifying creative solutions to often complex and fluid situations.  We are looking for highly motivated people who share our ambition and have some experience of dealing directly with the public and/or customers in a busy service environment. Great communication skills and experience of working effectively with others is essential in this role.    This role will suit someone with experience in dealing with rough sleepers with multiple needs and the ability to work with challenging behaviour. You will also have some understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people and the difficulties they experience in accessing services.
