Overview

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Technical Sales Manager for a well-established, people orientated manufacturing business based in Sheffield. Reporting to the Sales Director, this is a brand-new role which has been created due to business growth. Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive forward commercial activities, generating sales for commercial growth and securing new customers in a growing global market. Technical Sales Manager duties will include: - Work collaboratively with the sales team in order to identify new business opportunities, follow leads and consult on options - Provide comprehensive training for all customers - Responsible for all account management and Business Development - Build reports (based on research) on the cost benefits to the internal and external customers - Provide technical and consultative support to the internal sales team to support with pre-sales, product and technical advice - Represent the business at industry trade shows and exhibitions - Achieve and exceed yearly sales targets To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: - Experience of selling capital equipment - Experience of selling B2B - Proven success in a business development/sales role for a manufacturing business - Successful in achieving and exceeding sales targets - Excellent sales & negotiation skills with a strong commercial acumen - Demonstrable record of delivering profitable sales growth - The ability to manage cross functional relationships across the business Elevation Business Support is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group focusing on Administration positions in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
