Overview

My client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing services throughout the UK. This multi-award winning company are looking for a Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental Engineer to be based in their offices in Sheffield. The successful candidate will have a MEng/BEng or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or Environmental Engineering and be working towards chartered status. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 3 years experience in Geotechnical & Geo-Environmental Engineering and design and a thorough understanding of remediation, retaining walls, foundations, ground treatment and environmental engineering. Additionally, the successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be skilled in the use of specific computer software, geotechnical report writing and the preparation of design documents. This exciting role will involve the design delivery of geotechnical elements, preparation of fee budgets, proposals, calculations and drawings during the execution of projects. In addition, you will develop relationships between the company and new and existing clients.
