An opportunity has arisen within our client's Technical Services section for an Administrator, based at their Headquarters in Sheffield. Administrator - Technical Services Salary: Grade 3 (£18,795 - £19,171) Hours: Full Time - 37 Hours per week (Flexi Time) Contract: 12 Months (to 17 February 2021) Work Pattern: Mon - Fri Location: Central Headquarters The overall purpose of the role will be to assist in the provision of administrative support to the Technical services department within the Service Development Support Directorate. To be considered for this role you will have previous experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment, taking and writing up meeting minutes & action logs, answering queries from other teams regarding the status of equipment repairs. You must possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications including Outlook, MS Excel & Word. The key duties will entail providing administrative support to each of the sections within the directorate, which includes but is not limited to; • The verification and certification of pay documents for personnel within the Directorate. • The maintenance of leave records for personnel within the Directorate. • The verification and collation of car mileage claims for personnel within the Directorate. • Administration of statistical returns and the production of reports for management. • The co-ordination of the Directorate inventory and supervision of the ordering, control and issue of stationery and consumable items. • The co-ordination and production of orders, procedures, and information that originate within the Directorate. • To be responsible for the accurate and appropriate processing of data, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures (i.e. data protection).
