Overview
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join this fast growing pharmaceutical organisation. If you have pharma sales experience and a demonstrated history of providing excellent customer service to clients then this may be the role for you B & S Group is a continuing success story, with significant future growth ambitions. From its roots in retail pharmacy and distribution, the company now operates in a number of key pharmaceutical sectors as a broad-based pharmaceutical company with several divisions. Working as a Regional Sales Manager your main responsibility will be to use your skills to sell pharmaceutical products to Pharmacists along with identify potential new business within your territory, in order to increase business opportunities and sale revenue. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES: To generate business from new and existing accounts, in the form of sales. To persuade Pharmacists to adopt B & S Distribution as their preferred supplier across the whole product portfolio, which includes Generics, PI’s and Specials. Conduct presentations on B & S Distribution product portfolio to potential customers. Control of profitable independent and small chain pharmacies in your assigned target area Maintain an accurate record of existing and potential new accounts and to provide performance reports as and when required. To ensure that you keep up to date with new products and market updates within PI, Generics and Specials. In line with the group strategy, to identify new business opportunities by developing sales strategies to approach new clients in order to increase sales revenue. Report / present sales statistics to Head of Sales and CEOon a monthly basis. To remain aware of current market conditions and competitor behaviour. Be proactive in sharing market intelligence and best practice with colleagues through the sales governance framework. To adhere to the Company’s Policies, Procedures and culture at all times Any additional duties that maybe required by the Head of Sales or Senior Management Team Maintain and develop a close working relationship with the in-house telesales team. Identify key opportunities to pro-actively drive the business forward and offer recommendations to the Head of Sales Record your call and sales activity on a daily basis PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: To achieve and exceed targets in all areas and maintain regular contact with Telesales team Performance Manage your work to achieve the highest standard of work To fully utilise the IT systems (using Systems available to you) to plan your activities and deliver against your objectives and targets Partake in successful sales campaigns and achieve fantastic results To maintain professional standards at all times in line with B&S culture and behaviours To be punctual, maintain dress standards, be polite and courteous to internal and external customers at all times To adhere to the Company’s Policies and Procedure at all times Experience & Competencies Previous experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry Proven presentation experience Proven experience forging relationships with clients Proven sales and account management experience with the ability to promote and sell products Ability to demonstrate proven achievement of sale targets Understanding of PI and Generic markets and knowledge of key regional customers Excellent negotiation and influence skills Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Proven planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Territory management skills A full clean driving licence and private transport is essential. Extensive travel throughout the designated area is required.
