Overview

Are you an experienced leader with a real passion for Sales and driving your team to success? We are seeking an experienced field-based Sales Manager to lead the field-based Resellers Sale Team with responsibility for electrical wholesalers, the role will also be responsible for senior contacts in key regional accounts as well as key regional personnel within National Reseller Groups. This is a field-based role, with nationwide travel and will require regular visits to the UK Head Office in High Wycombe, therefore ideally the candidate should be no more than a 90-minute car journey away. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities for this role; Recruit, train and guide new candidates in their job responsibilities. Participate in sales conferences, exhibitions which may involve weekends and evenings. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to senior management team. Plan and preside over regular sales meetings both virtual and physical. Analyse and report team activities using data from various sources and ensure the team work according to company culture and values. Manage and ensure CRM is used and maintained daily for reporting and prepare annual sales and expense budgets. Plan regular field accompaniment days which will involve staying away from home. Ensure all admin and reports are maintained and submitted on time. Set and achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly targets for assigned accounts and defined product ranges, whilst reviewing the team's performance and progress in relation to their targets. Create account plans for key accounts to identify and qualify new opportunities for growth. Weekly & Monthly reporting and other operational admin e.g. Expenses, mileage, vehicle tracker reports, journey plans etc. Carry out any other related tasks conducive of the role at the request of the UK Sales Director. Managing a field-based team. Ability to demonstrate success in existing and previous sales roles. Computer literate - proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and CRM discipline. Strong negotiating, influencing and communication skills. Relevant level of English, both written and verbal. Confident and compelling presenter. Working within the reseller and indirect sales channel environment. Educated to degree level or relevant job experience.
