The responsibility of the Payroll Accounts Assistant will be to help cover the workload in between a period of transmission.You will play a vital role in ensuring that processes do not fall behind and there is the opportunity for the contract to be extended.Client DetailsThe client is a housing organisation in London.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Payroll Accounts Assistant will be;To handle all payroll queriesTo post payroll journals weekly and monthlyTo carry out bank reconciliationsTo assist with month end dutiesTo carry out other financial duties when requiredProfileThe successful Payroll Accounts Assistant will have experience in both payroll and other areas of finance such as bank reconciliations, VAT returns and transaction processes.Coming from a housing back ground would be desirable but not essential.You must be immediately available or on a one week notice.Job OfferThe successful applicant will have the chance to work within the finance department during a period of transition where this temporary contract has the possibility of being extended.
