The Role This role is suitable for recent graduate in finance/accounting looking to progress their career within a media accounts department. He/she will have about a years' experience and will already have good understanding of basic accounting. The role is therefore suitable for someone looking to expand their experience from their first job. The Accounts Assistant will need to be reliable and work as a team player. Ideally the Accounts Assistant will have a knowledge of Media Ocean accounting system (media buying) and Excel. To summarise key roles and responsibilities (non-exhaustive) Initiate the clients/suppliers creation / modifications according to group principles; Initiate the clients invoicing and credit notes; Record the suppliers payments entries; Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements; Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records; Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies; Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas; Constantly update job knowledge. Requirements Up to 1 years proven accounting experience. Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software; Autonomous, proactive and intuitive; Team player; Accuracy and attention to detail; Organized. Benefits TBC
