Overview

An Exciting New Opportunity has become available for ambitious and highly motivated individual to join a multi-award winning team based in Aylesbury. I am looking for a customer focused, professional and target driven Sales Team Leader to become a key part in motivating a young, busy and high-achieving Sales Team. The Role As the Sales Team Leader, you will aim to provide a positive, motivational and supportive environment which can facilitate your team to achieve and succeed. On a daily basis, ensuring that the high standards of customer service are being met and that the Sales Team are focused on achieving KPI's, consistently hitting and exceeding sales targets. As well as leading by example, managing and achieving your individual goals. Main Responsibilities include: Driving team performance: helping the team achieve sales targets and other KPIs Manage team under-performance and address problem behaviour and attendance within the team Conduct monthly 1-2-1’s to pro-actively address professional and personal development Assist with annual appraisals and handle disciplinary and grievance issues to facilitate and improve team performance Lead by example, at all times displaying a professional and positive attitude and behaviour Maintain high levels of personal performance, including sales. Maintain and demonstrate a positive outlook Motivate, coach and support sales agents Maintain effective communication with team, management, customers and business partners. Work alongside the Contact Centre Manager to ensure a consistent message is being delivered throughout the business Ensure all telesales activities operate efficiently and effectively on a daily basis Monitor and report on daily, weekly and monthly sales & telephony performance Identify training needs for individuals and team Help organise and oversee new starter induction and training Conduct call listening and complaint investigation; monitoring and managing call volumes and service levels Provide and maintain exemplary levels of customer service at all times Ensure all activity is in line with current compliance and regulatory guidelines and requirements Develop excellent company knowledge and become fully conversant with all campaign and product specifics (i.e. policy T&C’s, scripting, promotions etc.) Create and maintain a positive, motivational and supportive working environment Communicate, demonstrate and maintain departmental and business standards Act as an ambassador or champion within the department for business initiatives and participate in business projects, leading on areas that impact the Contact Centre Required to be on the phones as directed by Contact Centre Manager Carry out additional duties requested by a member of the management team, as the requirements of the business demand About You The right candidate for this will be a highly motivated and driven professional, with experience in fast paced and busy contact centre environments. Ideally you will have exposure to sales and you must be used to working to daily KPI's and consistently hitting targets. Strong Sales Skills with a proven track record Relevant and demonstrable experience at a Team Leader level or equivalent position within a Contact Centre Experience in managing teams and in driving team, target based performance Proven management experience, able to actively address performance and behavioural issues Able to undertake regular performance reviews Clear verbal and written communication Can prioritise busy workloads and use initiative in order to help achieve business needs Excellent organisational, inter-personal and time management skills Excellent customer service skills, able to identify customer needs effectively Computer Literate Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines Reliable and Responsible Self-motivate and driven, with a strong desire to succeed Desirable: Conflict and complaint management, Training and Development Experience and Quality Assurance Experience The Package £25,000 - £28,000 p/a Basic Salary Uncapped and rewarding commission structure 25 days paid holiday A competitive pension and life assurance scheme Competitive benefits package; including discounted Gym, online and high street discounts, social events and more Working Hours: Rotating Shifts, Mon - Fri (9am-8pm), including 1 in 4 Saturdays.
