Hereward College Vice Principal Finance and Resources Competitive Salary Following the retirement of our current Vice Principal, Hereward College is now looking to recruit a proven financial leader to join our senior leadership team. Our new Vice Principal Finance and Resources will join an expert and ambitious team and play a critical role in the next phase of Hereward College’s evolution. Hereward College is a place that changes lives. With a turnover of £8.5m and 270 learners we are a General FE College and our provision is specialist. We are very proud of our many achievements, including being rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, by Ofsted and by the ESFA for Financial Health but there is so much more we want to achieve. Our students and staff deserve the best. Appointed by the Board of Governors and reporting directly to the Principal we require an ambitious and inspirational Vice Principal who will lead on the finance and resources function across the college. Working with the Principal and Governors the successful candidate will take a senior role in leading, promoting and ensuring financial stability and commercial financial performance, which will enable the college to maintain a strong financial health rating, whilst driving and maximising new opportunities for further growth. Our successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record of financial planning and control and driving commercial financial performance at a senior level. A strategic thinker with a strong team working ethic, you will be a visible leader with a high degree of motivation to succeed. You will be prepared to work both operationally and at a strategic level which means interfacing with students and also providing credible assurances to our Board of Governors.
