Job Description
M&E Building Services Supervisor My client is one of the UK's leading providers of Integrated Facilities Management services, specialists in the provision of tailored and bespoke M&E building services engineering solutions to a varied, blue-chip client base to include, amongst others, Industrial, Healthcare, Corporate & Commercial environments respectively. An M&E Building Services Supervisor is required to oversee the provision of mechanical & electrical building services activities i.e. PPM to mechanical & electrical site infrastructure services to include (not restricted to) electrical services, HVAC, plumbing & building fabric to a large-scale highly regulated, critical site environment located in the Coventry area. The M&E Building Services Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day management of the site M&E team to ensure works are carried out in an effective and efficient manner and in line with stringent health & safety procedures as well as the control and management of associated 3rd party sub-contractors along with the issue/signing off work permits and adherence to RAMS. Please Note * This position is a "working" M&E Building Services Supervisor role and will require the successful candidate to be "hands-on" so a flexible approach to differing duties and responsibilities is essential. * The successful candidate will be required to possess a technical building services background, be that electrical and/or mechanical and therefore qualified to the relevant standard i.e. 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations as well as a recognised electrical apprenticeship if electrically biased and the mechanical/HVAC equivalent i.e. C&G plumbing and/or AC/F-Gas. * This is a single site based position and a vehicle is not provided Candidate Requirements & Additional Points * Qualified in either a Mechanical and/or Electrical building services engineering discipline as outlined above. * Hold additional qualifications and further training commensurate with an M&E Building Services Supervisor * Health & Safety qualified i.e. IOSH and/or NEBOSH would be highly advantageous * Experienced in the supervision of M&E building services PPM & small-works to static site environments, ideally that of a high governance, critical nature i.e. production/manufacturing & automotive. * Experienced in the issue/sign-off of PTW & RAMS * Possess strong communication skills due to the client facing nature of this position * Please Note: This is a site based position and a vehicle is NOT provided * There will be the requirement to take part on a call-out rota and possibly work on a shift basis if required so flexibility is essential. Salary & Benefits * £35,000 - £36,000 * 25 days holiday plus statutory days * Free on-site parking * Pension Scheme (Contributory)
