An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Absence Assistant Job Title: Absence Assistant Hours: 5 days per week, 8. 30am – 1. 30pm (22. 5hours), 36 weeks per year. The Absence Assistant is a single post responsible to the MIS Jeddah and ILR Lead in Business Intelligence & Planning to ensure all student absence is recorded and reported as appropriate. Whilst it is an individual role, close working with the team of Student Data Officers is required due to them covering the post outside of the stated hours above. The role requires an individual who has well developed organisational, communication and team working skills. The ideal candidate will work to reduce absence and improve retention to ensure our students are able to succeed. The candidate will possess the following: You will need to be at a Level 3 standard of education or Level 2 with relevant experience. Experience of working with spreadsheets and databases and working with large amounts of data. Working within a customer care environment – including both face to face contact and dealing with enquiries on the telephone. Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
