This role, Accounts Payable from Retail (immediate start), is a Purchase Ledger role within the large Finance team of a UK Retail brand. The role will cover a wide range of responsibilities and is an immediate start. Applicants must be immediately available or on a maximum of one week's notice. Client Details Our client is a UK Retail company covering home ware and Fashion. Their brand has found a niche in the Retail market and made a name for itself over the past few years. Description The key responsibilities in this role, Accounts Payable from Retail (immediate start), will include: - Management of the general ledger including: - Processing, matching, batching and coding of invoices - Supplier statement reconciliations - Bank reconciliations - Making and setting up payment runs - Posting and updating journals - Petty cash - Assisting with month end duties - Accountancy and Financial Services backed - Based in the City of London - Paid hourly - Start asap Profile The successful candidate for this role, Accounts Payable from Retail (immediate start), will: 1) have previous experience in Retail 2) be immediately available or on a maximum of one week's notice Job Offer The successful candidate will gain exposure in Retail, be joining a friendly, yet hard-working Finance team, and cover a wide variety of responsibilities.
