Overview

The role is an Accounts Payable Clerk role for a professional services company based in the City of London. Client Details The client is a noted professional services company based in the City of London. The role would suit an experienced AP clerk who has worked in the professional services sector beforehand. Description The key responsibilities of the Accounts Payable clerk will include: High-volume invoice processing (up to 200 per week) 3-way matching of invoices Reviewing invoices for proper documentation and approvals, processing payments, posting entries to the accounts payable system. Reviewing daily general ledger to ensure accuracy. Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Monitoring AP inbox, and ensure all invoices received are processed in authorization and escalated when necessary. Reconciliation of Bank Accounts & Inter-company accounts Reviewing and approve employee expense claims, credit card reconciliations and petty cash Gathering information for and prepare supporting documents for Sales Tax and VAT Profile The successful candidate will have: Experience in a relevant background (professional services is a must) Experience with SageLine50 and Xero Good to advanced Excel skills Experience working in a team Job Offer On offer for the successful candidate is a salary of between £28,000 and £32,000.
