Overview

I am currently looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable / Credit Controller from retail to work for a high end fashion brand based in East London. Client Details My client is a high end fashion brand who founded 20 years ago. Over the last 2 years the brand has expanded into Europe and Asia which has caused the finance team to double in size. The company has now reached the point where they are looking to hire their first Accounts Receivable / Credit Controller from retail to join their team. This is a permanent role based in East London, close to Aldgate tube station. This is an excellent opportunity for some to join a growing team. Sector: Fashion Description Accounts Receivable / Credit Controller from retail, London Full management of the sales ledger from reviewing invoices to chasing for payment and reconciling all accounts, consisting of 150 clients Manage the bank account ensuring all transactions are understood and posted on a regular basis Monitor cashflow and complete short term forecasts Assist with the retail sales interface New and existing client risk assessment Prepare/submit Intrastat, EC sales and VAT return Profile Previous experience working with global customers with proven track record of results is essential, minimum 3 years. Within fashion would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, other languages would be advantageous. Excellent knowledge of sales tax Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines High levels of personal motivation, a positive attitude SAGE 50 or equivalent experience is essential Job Offer The successful candidate will be paid £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience as well as additional benefits
