Overview
We are looking for a PR Officer to join our head office Press and PR Team at an exciting time for St Mungo’s as we grow our reach and influence and work towards our aim to end homelessness and help people rebuild their lives. About the role You will work closely with colleagues in our fundraising, campaigning and services teams to amplify their work through expert public relations activity, including liaising with the media, raising our profile through digital platforms and within in our local communities. You’ll work on proactively pitching stories to the media and have a nose for a good story. A clear and confident communicator, you’ll work well in teams and with senior colleagues, with the ability to respond positively to change and work effectively under pressure. What we’re looking for To be successful in this post you will have demonstrable experience of setting and achieving PR and media coverage targets which promote strategic messages to key audiences, either in-house or agency.
