Overview
As a successful Philanthropy and Partnerships Researcher you will provide strategicall aligned prospect research to enable the Philanthropy & Partnerships team to maximise its engagement with donors and prospects effectively. The Charity An international animal welfare charity. The RoleDevelop the prospect pool by identifying and researching prospects, analysing the prospects capacity, propensity and connection and track donors on the donor pipeline.Using a range of sources, complete appropriate research on current and prospective donors, including high net worth individuals, charitable trusts and foundations and institutional grant makers, allow for more efficient account management and cultivation.Conduct specific research on the fundraising landscape, particularly around major donors, charitable trusts, foundations and grant making institutions.Contribute to the prospect and donor moves management system and reporting function across the teams.Ensure the teams are making best use of Care through improving care guidlines and ways of storing information on care, and being an advocate for its use across and the teams. The CandidateGCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent; familiar with the Institute of Fundraising codes of practice relating to fundraising research and data protection legislation.Understanding of major relationships fundraising and a solid knowledge of donor and prospect research, including the importance it plays in fundraising.Experienced and highly competent researcher in a professional fundraising capacity. Evidence of working strategically and demonstrating analytical and planning skills.A proven track record of completing high quality research quickly and accurately using a variety of research resources (on line systems, specialist publications and informal networks)Ability to create high quality, in depth research reports and condense large quantities of information into a use friendly format.Experience of analysing fundraising data relating to funding environments and funding trends.
