Overview

THE OPPORTUNITY: Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales person working for a business based in Hinckley . This is a full time permanent position, which you can also work for home. We need someone who can work on their own and with a small team. You must be an excellent communicator and have strong customer facing skills. It is essential that you have some experience in SUDS, civil or construction market selling for a minimum of 2 years. You need to have experience in growing existing and prospect customer accounts including builders merchants, contractors and ground workers. Good negotiation skills and spec selling and defence experience is required. We would also you to have previously presented seminars. THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve personal and teams targets Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, consultants and engineers Identify the best solution for the client/customer Work closely with our Technical Engineers to solution provide Present CPD Seminars Provide technical meetings and site visits Maintain and update CRM system Contribute and provide support to the Marketing Department EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Minimum 3 years technical sales experience gained in civils / construction material sector Excellent communication, presentation skills and self-drive Ability to organise own diary effectively Self-motivated Willing to travel throughout the UK with nights away Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
