Overview
Field Sales Executive Circa £25,000, OTE 50k, plus car or allowance We are looking for an experienced New Business Field Sales Executive / Business Development Consultant for a role covering Glasgow and the West. This position is within the Managed Print Services industry and applicants who have a background within photocopier, print and scan devices would of course be of relevant interest, but this is not at all essential providing that you have another technology-related / equipment leasing sales background such as IT, telecoms, other leased business tech products, etc and that you are a highly motivated and skilled sales professional who has the ability and a strong desire to earn well above your basic salary. Working for a genuine market leading business, it would be your role to generate new business sales with companies of all sizes in the area. This role is primarily focused on new business development and it is suitable only for people who are very target driven and who possess exceptional new business selling skills. You will of course be looked upon to generate self-made opportunities of your own, but you will also have some introductions to warm leads through the company as well as the possibility of also handling some already existing clients. In this role you will receive excellent and ongoing training and will be coached and mentored by an exceptionally experienced sales colleague within the business. Opportunities to progress further within the organisation are very real and indeed they would much prefer to promote from within when possible. Applicants must be very personable, have exceptional communication skills and of course have a full driving licence. The starting basic salary for this position is circa £25,000 depending on and commensurate with experience (possibly further negotiable if you have a lot of precise industry background), with an OTE of roughly the same value as your base salary. A bonus guarantee for your first 3 months is also something that can be looked at while you get yourself up to speed. The bonus structure is also uncapped and OTE can certainly be exceeded with an above target sales performance.
