Field Sales Engineer - Sensors/Controls £Excellent basic commission, FE quality car benefits Scotland This established, global, multi million pound organisation manufactures and distributes sensing and control products for automation. They operate in a wide variety of sectors from Food & Drink, Water Treatment and Automotive to Building Automation, Pharmaceutical and Construction. Family owned, with a real passion for continuous improvement including regular investment in R&D, they are seeking a talented Field Sales Engineer to cover Scotland. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be covering Scotland providing a wide range of technical products and solutions to OEM and End User accounts. You will be responsible for managing and growing existing business whilst developing new relationships, working at all levels within a client organisation. The role will require you to research markets, make sales presentations and work to deadlines and targets. Support from their Edinburgh office, where you will be based one day per week, is superb and ideally you will be based within c1.5 hours travelling distance to the office. Whilst extensive training and support will be given, you must be Degree or HND qualified with sound Electrical knowledge, preferably with practical applications experience of sensors and controls in industrial automation. You may already be in a relevant sales role looking for your next career move or you may be in an Engineering role looking to break into sales. You should have outstanding communication skills, IT literacy and a real desire to win.
