Job Description
Role: Staff Nurse Night Location: Graham Anderson House, Eastfields Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: 16.82 - 17.82 per hour The Disabilities Trust is currently recruiting an experienced Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to work in our well-regarded Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) Independent Hospital in Glasgow. Eastfields is located close to the centre of Glasgow and has four-bed single storey properties which include transitional living opportunities. It is part of Graham Anderson House the 25 main bed hospital. A specialist neurobehavioural assessment and post-acute rehabilitation hospital for people with a non-progressive acquired brain injury (ABI). The Role: As a Staff Nurse, you will work as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team as part of a Neurobehavioural Rehabilitation Service for people with acquired brain injury. Meeting complex needs across inpatient, transitional living units and outpatient settings, the post holder will develop neuropsychological and rehabilitation expertise and will have scope for service development. You will work alongside support workers, psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychiatrist and social worker where an interdisciplinary approach is key to service delivery for service users and their families. Candidate Criteria: RMN/RNLD experience is required but additional training in relation to the neurobehavioural model will be provided however, a flexible approach and willingness to learn are essential.
