Carriera has been retained by one of the UK’s most prevalent independent property consultancies to secure an associate building surveyor within the residential space. Our client are industry-leading property professionals, who deliver a plethora of services throughout the commercial, residential and rural sectors. With a network that extends globally, there is never a shortage of exciting projects nor clients, and as a result, they are looking to grow the building surveying division from their West End offices. The opportunity presents itself within the residential building consultancy department, where it is currently led by an inspiring director, who has an extensive network within the private high-end residential space. They currently have several instructions across the board ranging from project management, contract administration, surveys, design together with CDM. Supporting the partner in charge, this is an exciting opportunity for those looking for greater responsibility, as you will be seen as the no2 of the department, with the scope of becoming lead in coming years. This means that a lot of your responsibility will be based on nurturing existing relationships, increasing the range and quantity of instructions via business generation and providing technical advice as of when required. The successful candidate will be MRICS, an influential communicator that can assist with the business generation, that pays great attention to detail and can build and retain relationships. You will have demonstrable experience in delivering project and professional services and will have come from a commercial or high-end residential background. In return, the business provides a solid basic salary above market rates, along with a lucrative bonus structure, pension, healthcare, discount offers and more.
