Overview

My client is a British Designer and Manufacturer of network transmission equipment for the growing worldwide security and transportation surveillance market. Due to company expansion they are now seeking to employ a Regional Sales Manager, based in the Manchester/Leeds area to cover the North of England and Scotland. You will be responsible for developing relationships, generating opportunities and driving business sales to generate new business, exceed company objectives and increase revenue. You will report directly to the Company Director. The Ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Security or IT Sales, the company are looking for a Sales Manager with a proven track record, commercial expertise and a passion for developing new streams of revenue. Key responsibilities:- Develop clear business plans for the selected accounts Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up Work closely together with System Integrators, in order to develop the project pipeline and close projects Actively participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars and other promotional sales activities Prepare sales reports with new and existing projects Carry out ad hoc projects as requested Ensure account visits are well planned to minimise travel time and costs Completion of paperwork and database requirements to high a quality, and on time Ensure clear objectives, ownership and expectations are agreed with manager Undertake effective personal reviews to support continuous performance, skills and behaviours improvement in the role Ensure a culture of ongoing improvement in area The company offer:- A Company Pension Scheme 25 days holiday Bank Holidays The opportunity to work in a dynamic, fun and ambitious work environment Competitive Salary Based on experience up to £53k
